Bruce Goodman, Esq.

Member, Co-General Counsel | CHIEF COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Bruce is SKK's Co-General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and has more than 38 years of experience as a business and legal counselor. He has served as General Counsel and a Director of public companies, as well as a Partner in a major Boston law firm for 13 years.  Bruce has counseled entrepreneurs and professionals, public and privately-financed companies and non-profit institutions. He has represented such clients in business combinations, financial transactions, commercialization of technology and general business matters, as well as regulatory investigations and compliance counseling. Bruce graduated cum laude with a degree in Government from Harvard College, and holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was Editor of the Columbia Law Review and a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. Bruce is a Director of Bay Cove Human Services, Inc., a leading Boston social services agency.

Senior Vice President, ERISA COUNSEL

Heath is a Senior Vice President with SKK and also In-House ERISA Counsel with more than 23 years of experience primarily in tax and employee benefits. He is responsible for the ongoing development and refinement of the processes and procedures associated with the investment services that SKK provides to its institutional clients. Prior to joining the Firm, Heath was a partner at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLP, one of the largest law firms in the United States, where he regularly advised Fortune 500 companies and other plan sponsors regarding day-to-day and corporate event related employee benefit issues. Heath’s primary area of focus included the tax and fiduciary issues associated with qualified retirement plans, including 401(k) plans and other types of defined contribution plans, as well as traditional defined benefits plans and cash balance plans. Heath received his LL.M. in taxation and a certificate in employee benefits law from Georgetown University Law, his J.D. from South Texas College of Law, and his B.S. in business administration from Illinois State University. Heath is admitted to practice in Texas and before the U.S. Tax Court.
